Arriving in LHR, we found our way from Terminal 5 to the bus to Terminal 3. We just missed the first bus, but the next was not even a minute later...and we were the only two on it!! (So, kind of a private bus.) Theresa opted to go sit in the back alone, leaving Bill with the bags. Wow. :-O We continued to the BA lounge in Terminal 3, to begin our 4 hour layover.
Theresa promptly got a Cornish Ale, and then headed for a shower. Bill got some hot food for lunch and drank Theresa's ale. It was kind of nice to sit and get our own (hot) food, but otherwise veg, since 2-4 hours of sleep left us fuzzy-minded.
We boarded our flight to Prague, and it was nice. BA's idea of BC in Europe is basically a coach triple with the middle seat blocked. But they served a decent cold lunch, and Bill managed two beers, a coffee, and sparkling water in the 2 hour flight. It was interesting seeing the Flight Attendants running up and down the aisle trying to finish the meal service in time.
Exiting through Immigration, we used our best two words in Czech, "Ahoy" for hello, and "De-kwee" for thanks! The "police" (immigration officer) seemed amused, but agreed we said it right. We checked into our Hilton for the week, and look forward to a good night's sleep!!
Have a great trip! We loved Prague.
