| I fully expected to see a lone guy leaning against this lone palm tree! |
This was our last port before the end of the cruise. But we had been to Aruba before, and none of
the tours seemed to be “unique”. Sure, there
were island tours, beach escapes, etc, but nothing that was unlike any of the
other islands. So, we planned to just
walk about on our own after sleeping in (of course). Well, sleep in we did and we got up between 7
and 9AM. So, we got going enough to make
the 10 AM morning trivia and ordered some drinks at the location. (We have come to love this app where you can
order a variety of things and have them delivered to you, wherever you are on
the ship.) We got two Cappuccinos, and a
couple of sparkling waters. After we won
the trivia (with the help of a woman we met earlier on the cruise), Bill went
ashore to buy a flag of Aruba. Theresa
opted not to go since her Achilles has been bothering her all trip and the walk did
not sound like fun.

| A little different cruise than our ship, I presume. |
 |
| Seen from our balcony. |
Back on the ship, we headed to the buffet for “brunch”.
They were serving breakfast until 11:30 and
lunch after that, and we arrived about 11:15, so a little of both.
We then decided we were going to watch a
movie in our room, so we started scouting our movie treats (the things that are
not on the room service menu), and getting them down to the room.
Then Bill prepared yesterday’s blog while
Theresa read a bit and took a bit of a nap.

| Dessert! |
We watched one of the Narnia movies (The Dawn Trader) and munched on our
snacks, then got ready for our dinner reservations at the Italian
restaurants.
(In retrospect, we should have
gone with a lot less snacks, but we skipped several of the courses for
dinner.)
Afterwards, we went to hear the
comedian.
He was partly funny, but
seemed to lose his place and repeated a few things.
Oh well, it was free!
We headed back to our stateroom to relax a
bit with another Love Boat episode before heading to bed a little early (like 10).
 |
| Look! Prepackaged nachos!! (Theresa disagreed.) |
 |
| Ready for a movie with a more reasonable sized nacho set up, perhaps. |
 |
| AUA Airport in Aruba. |
 |
| We did get to see Delta and United planes landing, but no AA. |
 |
| Flags from most of the places we visited on this trip. |
