Falkland Islands - Day 2 - Stanley

First, our apologies. We've been having issues with uploading pictures, so are unable to pull one in at this time...
Stanley is very British! We had an 8am arrival and left about 1pm. We were able to go to the Falkland Islands Museum and did some walking through town, visiting both a Catholic Church (which we wished we had checked and seen they had 9am Mass), and the Christ-Church Cathedral. The Cathedral is one of the more iconic images for Falkland Islands, with a whale-bone arch in front of it. Not a lot more to do except a little shopping! On our voyage away from the Falkland Islands, we’re in seas with about 10-15 foot swells. It’s amazingly beautiful looking out the window of our cabin, seeing the sea receding and rising with a splash and the Cape Petrols and Sooty Shearwaters just dabbling in the waves. The captain says that it should get calmer as the evening goes on, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed! The next 2 days are at sea, so we will probably not blog until after our next adventure (South Georgia Island). Hope everyone is doing well!
