Day 10 -- Home!!

It was an early morning, to finish up last minute packing, and get to breakfast by 7:30.  Our group was to be off the boat by 8:15, so we wanted enough time to enjoy (not hoover) our breakfast.  Bill got the “Baby Lamb” chops for the last time.  They were (obviously) good!!  Our view was over a bunker barge, where the ship was taking on fuel for the next voyage.  What a great entertainment!  (sorry, no pictures, since the window was not very clean.)

Things were a bit delayed, but our group was called about 8:30, and we were on the bus in 15 minutes, maybe.  MIA Airport was getting full, but we’ve seen worse.  And we’re not heading into the worst winter weather, so all looks good.

Once in the terminal, we got to the Centurion lounge, and Theresa noticed the Spa was open.  We quickly booked two neck/back massages.  It was a little weird (for Bill who isn’t used to massages) but in ten minutes everything was relaxed, and time to get a couple of Mimosas and break open some laptops to work.

Theresa was upgraded on the way to MIA, and surprise!  On the way home too.  But, she (very graciously) offered to swap boarding passes with Bill.  The flight was a little rough (turbulence), but mostly uneventful.  However we arrived home to 17F weather which was NOT a nice change from the 80s we were used to for so long!

We finally finished a compilation of a few videos for earlier in the trip.  We’ll keep trying to improve and maybe one day make “good” videos. Until then, we hope you enjoy!  (Part 2 is in work.)
