Lobster for breakfast!
This was our last day at sea, and last day of the
cruise. We started with a nice
breakfast. It started two nights ago. See, it was “lobster night” and you know what
occurs after lobster night? Leftover
lobster! So, Theresa asked (yesterday)
for a “lobster omelet”, but alas, these things one must ask the day
before. However, our usual waiter’s
section was busy so she could not. When
he was not able deliver it yesterday morning, he promised to try this morning. When we showed up, he told Theresa she could choose
only the from the “Sides” menu, hinting the lobster omelet was waiting for
her! Well, certainly, we must oblige! As the assistant waiter came by to offer us
water, Bill asked for “Sparkling water” (as he usually does). After she poured the sparking water, she came
back with coffee, and just before she poured, Bill interjected with “Sparkling
Coffee, please!”, and she stopped abruptly while her mind tried to process this
request. It then hit her far funnier
than it really was, which made it all the better for us. She then brought my juice, declaring it to
be “sparkling”. And then after the
lobster omelet arrived, of course, it warranted champagne to accompany. So, we had a very sparling breakfast!
After breakfast, we went to a presentation by the Captain. He covered everything from how they chose and
set up a route to how they set it up. He
covered the nuts and bolts of the actual cruise. It was very interesting!
We grabbed a quick lunch at the grill on the 15th
deck (above the pool on the 14th deck) then took a bit of a break in
the room. We caught afternoon trivia and
then had some fruit and cheese and champagne on our patio in the later
afternoon. I mean…if you have a balcony,
you might as well use it, right? 😊

OK, acrobatics. With singing.
After mostly packing, we watched the last show, which had a
lot of singing and some acrobatics with the suspended rings and silks, and
such.
The music was not bad.
The acrobatics…sure, ok.
Our last dinner was very good. We capped it off with a nice night cap before
finishing packing and calling it a night.

But seriously, WHAT is going on here??
