A stout in a Pilsner glass? SHAME!! I award you no points!
I don't think this looks right?
Our friends from the cruise! And some decimated canapes!
We checked out the show (Crew Capers) and then headed to dinner. Our Butler STRONGLY recommended the main restaurant, so we went there.
Lobster Thermidor. Fancy.
Baked Alaska (a Theresa favorite).
We sat next to a VERY interesting table with eight people. Here is what we KNOW. One man was wearing a crown. All of the ladies had something in their hair (flowers, or some sort of head band). At some point, the (apparent) king and queen, began handing out paper plates as awards. We heard parts of this.
Yes, he had a crown!! (it was scary taking a pic, since we didn't know his "kingly" power!)
What we don’t know, but decided could be true: They are a cult or a commune, or a group of
extraterrestrial origin. We’re
thinking cult, but not taking away the possibility of aliens. Every so many nights, they assess their progress
at some objective which may be nefarious or innocuous (unclear) and the current
King and Queen decide who wins which award.
Maybe these awards assure their safety or survival. We’ll assume at the end of the cruise they sacrifice
one couple off the boat, but this is only speculation. We heard the “king” say, “this goes to the
one who … our reputation on board” (it was loud, we had to fill in the blanks
with known or unlikely fill in the blanks).
The plate he handed said “Queen of Crowns”. After passing the paper plate, we later
noticed her male associate (at this point, only absurd conclusions can be
assumed) was wearing the crown. We tried
to hear more as the night went on, and Oh, how we wish we could hear tomorrow’s
dinner and presentations. But we do know
we should not have multiple drinks and then sit next to an unusual group and
speculate on their purpose in life. (But
we hope you enjoyed the story!)
After dinner, we headed to the show. This was the first time Bill was done with
the blog early enough so we went together, much to Theresa’s joy. It was a Country Western theme, much to Bill’s
chagrin. But, we sat together and “enjoyed”
the show!
Tomorrow…last stop!
