Day 1--And We're Off!!

Ready and Waiting!

There are so many things to be thankful for today (though sometimes we have to look past the things we don’t see to glimpse what’s still hiding behind).  For us, one big thing is getting to travel in such style!  For those who know us, we’re sort of normal people who travel like we’re sort of …not normal!  Anyway, we’re setting off for a trip we planned in February.  We found a cruise, and even great prices on airfare, and pulled the trigger.  Unlike so many trips intended in 2020, this one came true!

The Path!  (Segment 1 immanently!) 

So, we’re heading off to Santiago, Chile, and then to Antarctica!!  Our trip in 2008 was (and still is) our favorite of all time.  It will be impossible to match, but we’ll try! 

This time, we’re trying to up our game a little.  We will try to add video to (y)our experiences.  Bear with us as (1) we’re very new to that, (2) we’re not IT wizards.  But we hope it goes well.

Buffet!!

We started our journey with Thanksgiving Dinner (appetizers) in the Admiral’s Club, and dinner in the Centurion Lounge.  Alas they were out of the good Scotch, so we had some beer, Irish Whiskey, and a couple of cocktails. 

Our 787 awaits, and we’re getting excited for all of this to come together!!
