Good Morning from the Bahamas!
Today was one of those days where our priorities maybe showed? Theresa had to work for part of the day, so that tied up a decent part of the day, but we’d be lying if we suggested that was the only driver. We’ve been to Nassau more than once, and weren’t really interested. This cruise was more about the experience than the locations so we were both quite happy to stay on the ship all day, making it sort of a “sea day”. Throughout the day we found quite a few other people also stayed on board.
We took little breaks through the day and certainly used our
benefits. A nap, a couple of fancy
drinks, and the lunch buffet, and before we knew it, the day was mostly spent.
Coffee? Popcorn? Sure!
Our butler may have gotten a bit carried away on our set up!
Don't let the smile fool you... This is an unamused bouche!
Dinner was good, but the “amuse bouche” again featured goat cheese. Half of us thought it wasn’t bad.
Hey, you do musicals your way, I'll do them MINE!
Theresa was looking forward to the show, which was sort of a musical. A nice glass of a distilled and aged product made the show much better! Actually, it wasn’t too bad, since they incorporated some contemporary songs. No need to hurry back for a second showing, but it was OK. (Theresa might add her opinions here…) Theresa found the show very entertaining. Different methods of dance, acrobatics, and really good singers.
OK, be honest...how many Engineers out there see these acrobatics and think of the Capstan Equation??

A bizarrely silent rave!!
After the show, there was a “silent disco”.
They give people headphones, and you can tune into any of three channels so you can listen to whatever music you like. Since it is all in the headphones, you can be in your own little loud world, but the rest of the ship doesn’t have to be. Also, the person next to you isn’t necessarily listening to the same music. It is kind of funny to watch. A number of the people were singing out loud to their music and, well, talent is universal!
