We're so much bigger than they are!!
Friday we got up early, and readied our last bags, and got
out of the room. We went to the restaurant
for one last meal, and then up to the lounge to await our number. But it hadn’t been called and they were way
past it, so we asked. “Oh, that’s a
Priority number. We don’t call them because
they are Priority.” Huh? OK, well, let’s go now! The concierge escorted us to the gangway off,
bypassing most of the line, and then we were off the boat (and no longer anyone’s
priority!). We found our two bags and
got to the Uber pick up zone, and ordered our ride. The lines were long, as as our driver wended
his way toward us, they closed the pick up zone. They had “parking” where the cars could pull
in, load up, and then get on their way.
But they made several of them line up on the bypass lanes, and we had to
wade out into the (stopped) traffic to get to our car. OK, no prob, but we’re ready let’s go! Nope!
See, the bypass lanes were not able to pass or go around other cars, so we had to
wait until EVERYONE in front of us (about 10 cars found0 their customers and
loaded up, and two of them couldn’t seem to achieve that. 20 minutes later, we were in motion.

Taking on fuel in Seattle.
We got to our friends’ house about 11 and hung out with J
for the early afternoon, then our goddaughter E, a few hours more.
Finally, B came home and we celebrated his 60
th
Birthday at a nice restaurant!!
We were not the only celebration. The booth near us had a couple and about 5-6 dozen pink roses in vases and such. We
surmised why, and we came up with some great options, and even some interesting
ways to find out, but pretty much all of them were not very nice, so while we
laughed and laughed…we didn’t do any of them.
Saturday, we enjoyed a lazy morning with coffee and
quiet. (Well, mostly. Bill had a couple of work calls.) Then we headed to the airport. We found the Centurion Lounge, and grabbed a
booth and lunch and a drink. Then free
ice cream, because…sure!!

Taking on DEF. That's a LOT of DEF!!
The flight home was uneventful, but 4 hours long. And we got home at like 11 after
everything. Tired!
TG: Our Captain (Matt Karandreas) shared the video below of our journey into Endicott Arm. This was from our last day on the cruise...Sharing for your enjoyment :-)
