Ok, no unicorns, but we saw rainbows about 2-3 times today, after a few yesterday.

We were amazed to see ANOTHER rainbow!

But looking closer... :-O
With nothing to do this morning before 10, we could sleep in
as long as we wanted! Also, we were
crossing a time zone, so got to set our clocks back an hour. Extra sleep all around! Therefore, we were awake at 5:30AM. We tried to get back to sleep, but finally
got up and started putzing around at 6 or so.
We met M&MA for breakfast about 9ish (as they got up and exercised
like responsible sort of people). Then
off to Name That Tune (just the two of us, MaryAnne did a jewelry making class
and Mike seized the vacation theme by going to the room and doing nothing!
(points to Mike!)). For the Name that
Tune, we were killing it, when at about question 12, we had twenty points
already (one for song title and one for artist). Then, it went dead. We ended up with 25 (out of 40), which was ‘almost’
third place, but when they called 25 (and ours and another group’s hands shot
up, this different group realized they had 26 ☹). No
points. Some guy got 33 by himself, so
if we had joined him, and even helped him get one point, we’d have tied for
first. Oh well!

The Q&A with the Captain, and weather maps!
Bill then spent some time visiting the puzzle on board, and
Theresa and MaryAnne went for a two-mile walk.
Then the four of us met up for lunch.
Later we went to the Captain’s Q&A, which was really him giving a
bit of a presentation, and then handing off to his Weather Officer to present,
then the Q&A.
It was good.
Finally, we headed to the afternoon Trivia.
Sadly, there were two answers we sort of ‘had’
but talked ourselves out of (again!), but we still tied for first place.
So, looks like our team of the four of us: a
man from Argentina and his wife (from Boston?), and a woman from Scotland; are
doing pretty well (so far).
It’s kind of
nice being that team other teams resent (maybe?).

Predinner drinks!
|
No one knows what's going on here.
For dinner, Theresa informed us at breakfast that we had
reservations at the Topless bar.
Imagine
our surprise when we got there and discovered she actually said “Tapas” bar!
:-o
Actually, it was very good.
But
it was rather slow.
It was several small
courses, which gave us a lot of tastes, but it took a while.
Still we enjoyed it (I think).
After dinner, we saw the show, a comedian named Steve
Stevens. He was REALLY funny! We all
laughed heartily. But there are certain songs
which will never be the same!
