Sydney Addendum

Sydney Opera House
We left port a bit late, pulling out at almost 7 instead of 6:30.  As the sun was mostly set by then, we got some nice night views of the Opera House, Harbor Bridge, and the city lights.  Then we went down to the dining room for dinner.  We were seated at a two person table right by the window.  But, the window wasn’t very clean, and with the glare of the lights, we could not see much.
After dinner, we went a bit late to the evening show.  These are usually variety acts, typically singing, dancing, etc.  So, my (Bill’s) enthusiasm was, well, in neutral.  We found seats in the back as the comedy/mime act wrapped up.  He seemed OK.  Then they got into the musical business.  I go for Theresa in these occasions and try to be innocuous in my disinterest.  So, when the attractive young woman came out in a very sparkly, somewhat short dress, and began to play AC/DC’s “Back in Black” on her violin, I was confused, intrigued, and uncertain what might have been in my wine at dinner!!  It was not awful.  It blurred into “enjoyable”.  I am trepidacious about the next shows!
