Brisbane

It's been a quick 24 hours in Brisbane. We are now in the land down under (See, Bill is upside down!). It was a good flight, but very long. So long in fact, that Theresa aged an entire year! The QANTAS Flight Attendants were very nice, and gave us a bottle of champaigne for Theresa's Birthday (after we crossed the international date line).

We went to the Lone Pine Sanctuary, seeing animals such as Koalas, Kangaroos, Wombats, and Wallabees. Then walked around downtown a little looking at the architecture. This is us after 36 hours without a shower! But, the koala didn't complain. Nice picture time, eh! Unfortunately, hotel didn't have free internet, so had to wait until we got to the airport to post this.

We're on our way to Cairns today. Cape Tribulation today, Great Barrier Reef tomorrow!
