Well, we left SYD a little late for our first leg (3hr 10 min). The good news: we are here in Auckland!! The bad news: "LAN" seems to stand for their service choices "Little and None"! Oh well. Next leg to Santiago is only 9.5 hours or so. But, we have a new crew. Maybe they won't be as grumpy?
While in SYD, we saw something amazing (and frankly, ugly)! The A380!! Singapore now flies it daily between Singapore and Sydney. So, I got some pix, but can't upload them right now. It is stumpy looking. I saw it taxi, but missed seeing it take off. Maybe another time?
So far, December the 16th has been 15 hours long. It's 5PM right now (3PM in Sydney). But, we have many hours to go for this date before leaving SCL tonight!
