After the Aquarium, we took a ferry to Circle Quay (near the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge. From there we took a walk across the Sydney Harbor Bridge. We had some nice views of the bridge and the opera house.
The shape of the roof is (intended to be) reminiscent of sails. I think you really only get that impression if you look at the side view.
