On the Way--Part II

We boarded our second flight right about midnight.  Although we were thinking it was longer, it turned out to be only about 4 hours.  But it was a beautiful 777 (300ER if you care), and the seat set ups were identical to the A350-1000.  But they had the center overhead bins so I was happy about that!  We got settled, and I ordered my final dinner of the day.  Theresa got to sleep pretty much right after take off, and probably got 2+ hours of sleep.  I got about an hour.  We shared one of the Godiva chocolate boxes as we were landing.

After landing, they closed the curtains between Business and Economy, and let everyone from Business Class deplane and get on the bus to the terminal before they let anybody from Coach off.  (Wow!!)  All of our COVID paperwork was in order, and they let us into the country!

Seems like Theresa (a.k.a. Jeanne?) seems to have
four bags but Bill brought none.  Gee whiz, T!

Once we had our bags, we found the guy with a sign (with our resort…not just some random guy!), and he took us to check in for our flight, check our bags, get boarding passes, and head for the bus to the other airport about a mile or so away.  We were greeted by a host, who ushered us into the “Atmosphere” lounge (Atmosphere is the company that runs the resort).  It, uh, it was…it was airconditioned!!!  They had some snacks which were nice, and some cans of sodas, but the AC was the big deal.  After about 60 minutes, they escorted us to the…Terminal?  Gate?  A big outdoor room with a lot of people, and a brusque guy who muttered “Sit over there!”  A woman got up to make an announcement, we think for a flight, but it was nearly impossible to know what she said.  Except about a dozen people got up and hustled off.  That happened a few more times.  Finally we heard something about “Kanifushi”, and we hustled off too! 

Hey after you fill 'er up, check the oil.  OK?

That's a lot of bags!

Our flight was dropping off people for two resorts and we were the second stop.  It was pretty full, with 13 of the 15 seats full, and a giant wall of suit cases.  And there is a cargo compartment, but hey.  

The scenery at the beginning of the flight was awesome!!  We could see several "islands", and a lot of them were untouched.

We had a good view of the flight deck, which was interesting, but apparently we were not as enthralled as the people in front of us trying to record everything up there with their mobile phones.  We cruised almost perfectly north at 125 knots for about 35-40 minutes.  7 people got off, leaving 4 of us, plus a fifth that got on (probably going home).
