Day 13 – At Sea – Last Time Shift

We lost another hour last night, which makes the mornings shorter!  Missed breakfast by the time we got up, but luckily they have a coffee shop (think onboard Starbucks), and that’s included in our drink package (so it’s free!).  So, we got some coffee, Theresa got a homemade granola bar and Bill got a “Gluten Free Coconut Cookie” (otherwise known as a macaroon).  That was plenty to get us through our morning Progressive Trivia and the presentation on Hollywood Science Fiction/Fantasy.

Anytime a lecture includes this slide, it's gonna be good!  :-)
The Physicist lecturer went through a number of shows and movies and discussed their closeness to physically feasible or impossibility.  Star Trek got thumbs up, Big Bang Theory got thumbs up, even Back to the Future got thumbs up!  Theresa commented going to the movie with him must be like going to the movies with Bill.  I presume she means it would be delightful?

We had a nice lunch, did a little laundry, and went to a matinee performance by the Juggler/Comedian from last night, and half of us went to the Part II presentation on the Ottoman Empire at War (guess which half?).  Read some books, and otherwise did what you would expect on a sea day!!

The evening had a UK comedian/impressionist and a “Full Moon” party. Part of what I (Theresa) like about cruising is it gets us out and doing things at night.  Yes – I (Theresa) stayed up past 10pm!!  We sat in the party with the couple we met in Corinth, and visited with them a bit.  Then called it a night and went to bed!
