This was a sea day, transiting between Sicily and
Greece. We slept in, late enough to miss
breakfast. (Theresa’s Note – in our
defense, we lost an hour last night!) Well, probably for the best. We did the morning trivia, and with 13/15, we
were third place. Oh well. We had an early lunch, then went to a
presentation on the history of Greece, and then a presentation on “Time”. Alas, it was at the same time as the afternoon
trivia, so we left our team in the lurch.
And then he didn’t even tell us how to go back in time to also make it
to the trivia. Oh, well.
For dinner, they brought a third entrée, just to try. Not totally sure why. But it was a “cauliflower steak”, where they
took cauliflower, sliced it thick, and grilled it like a steak, and put it on a
bed of curry yoghurt, with raisins on top.
It was nice, but we were glad for our veal and venison pasta.
We headed for a quick drink while waiting for the show at 9.
It was music and singing and dancing.
So, Theresa enjoyed it. I was a
bit concerned when, after the song from The Little Mermaid, they segued into the
theme song from Titanic. Uh…?? They went into some “Batman” song neither of
us had ever heard of, with a picture of an A10 Warthog in the background. REALLY not sure what was going on there. Then they did quite a few James Bond theme
songs. So, all in all, a confusing
selection. Early to bed, as we have a
7:15am tour to Corinth! Currently the
forecast is 100% chance of rain. Looking
forward to it!
Not the Corinth near Lewisville, right? LOL!! I do look forward to hearing about your tour there. Lots of New Testament history?
